This site was started by a mother who has a disability and has many
valuable resources including adaptive aids.

This site is a peer support and information-sharing network for parents
and prospective parents with a disability. The aim of PDN is to develop
consumer friendly approaches to parenting with a disability by providing
opportunities for networking, peer support, information-sharing and education.
The PDN is one of several programs offered by the Centre for Independent
Living in Toronto (CILT). They offer several publications on parenting.

AT and Communication Workshop Scheduled
Come
learn about assistive technology for communicating in order to appreciate
the possibilities for independence, increase awareness of community connections,
and develop strategies for emergency situations.

purpose of this training is to motivate employers to hire veterans
with disabilities with an emphasis on Traumatic Brain Injury and
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. A component of the training will
address assistive technology and accommodations. They have extended
the option of both Video and Audio Teleconferencing at no cost. For
