About the "Finding Our Way Home" Project

Statewide Technical Assistance from Michigan Disability Rights Coalition (MDRC)

A coalition of stakeholders and community partners are collaborating in this project for housing systems change. "Finding Our Way Home" is made possible through a grant from the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council. Michigan Disability Rights Coalition (MDRC) provides training and technical assistance to 5 local housing centers of excellence and has created this online directory. An additional paper Housing Resource Directory will be printed to further promote access to housing of one’s choice. Collaborative partners, also part of the "Finding Our Way Home" grants from the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council, are advocating in their communities for affordable, accessible, integrated housing with needed supports for persons with disabilities.
