Lejuste Three Dimensions of Leadership Development

This is a written description of the diagram of the model:

There are three circles. The first circle has the word "self" with "self-esteem, self-awareness, and self-confidence" written inside the circle. The second circle has the word "community" with "action and reflection for self and others"; and "understand the shared experience of inequality" written inside the circle. The third circle has the word "visionary" with "influence and direct action to change systems" written inside the circle. The three circles are connected in a circular fashion by arrows going in both directions.

This diagram represents the three areas of the leadership development model. It also demonstrates that each one leads to to the other and that all three parts are developing simultaneously.

Connections for Community Leadership is funded by the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council.
