Disability Pride Parade Mission is to change the way people think about and define “disability,” To break down and end the internalized shame among people with disabilities and to promote the belief in society that disability is a natural and beautiful part of human diversity in which people living with disabilities can take Pride. Road to Freedom BusThe mission of Road to Freedom Bus Tour is to alert Americans to the need for Congress to keep the promise of the ADA by restoring the protections that have been eroded over the years. Motivating Undergraduates in Science and Technology (MUST) Scholarship ProgramMotivating Undergraduates in Science and Technology Scholarship is open to all U.S. citizens, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM disciplineat a college or university that is accredited in the United Statesare eligible for the MUST funding opportunity. Students of all underrepresented groups (Women, African Americans, Hispanic Americans,Native Americans and persons with disabilities) are encouraged to apply. 2. Ryan Mullaly Second Chance FundThis non-profit corporation is offering scholarship assistance to young people who are fighting cancer. They are looking for young men and women whose high school years were disrupted by cancer and whose ability to qualify for most scholarships was precluded by the extensive absenteeism and physical disabilities which result from chemotherapy and radiation.
Ryan Mullaly Second Chance Fund Information. 3. Exceptional NurseExceptional Nurse awards eight different scholarships to qualified students with disabilities to help with their education in a nursing education program.
4. Ethel Louise Armstrong (ELA) ScholarshipThe Ethel Louise Armstrong (ELA) Foundation, Inc. scholarship is for any woman with a physical disability who is enrolled in graduate program- a Masters degree or above- at an accredited college or university in the United States.

Participate in Schizophrenia Awareness Week:The National Schizophrenia Foundation is pleased to provide you with the Community Action Kit for this year’s Schizophrenia Awareness Week (SAW): May 20-26, 2007. This year’s theme is “Realizing Recovery, Shattering Stigma.” They encourage you to plan an event or activity in observance of SAW, no matter how large or small. 2. Mental Health RallyThe Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Board is a sponsor of the 2007 Walk a Mile in My Shoes Rally for Mental Health held on May 24, 2007 at the State Capital Building in Lansing. 3. Half of UsHalf of Us is a webpage dedicated to fighting stigma and raising awareness around mental health especially pertaining to college students.
