ADAPT: Power through Action

ADAPT is an organization of disability activists who believe in Action. Around for several decades, they first worked for accessible transportation until the Americans with Disabilities Act was passed and signed. For the last 20 years, ADAPT has focused on making community supports for community living a reality. Their call is:

"Our homes, not nursing homes".
