Why
Join MDRC?
Do you want to support the personal autonomy and self-determination of all
Michigan citizens with disabilities? If you do, you should be a member of MDRC.
Regardless of where you live, or what your disability is, you can effectively
participate in building the kind of communities that people with disabilities
can live and thrive in.
- Talk to Other Advocates!
While you are here at Communities of Power, register, and join in the on-going
conversation about change in our state. Check out the latest news and let
others know what you think!
- Build Your Advocacy Skills!
Got a local group of people interested in community building? Let us know!
We can talk about getting you the training that you and your friends need
to be effective with the problems where you live!
- Collaborate with Other Organizations!
Your organization can join others in Michigan to work for specific policy
and funding changes that will benefit all Michigan citizens with disabilities.
Contact us about what's hot, and bring your strengths and values to the
table!
- Our Voices:
As a member of MDRC, you will receive our Publication "Our Voices"
and information about training opportunities and important events.
- Members Only section of Communities of Power:
You will be able to use this section to contribute to issues you care about
and learn about important policy issues here in Michigan and nationally.
